  • Industrial Trades I and II is a two-year program offered at Heartland Technical Academy and allows people interested in manufacturing and construction have a promising career. It requires an understanding of basic principles in both construction and manufacturing and the development of basic hands-on skills. The course offers "basic construction trade skills, such as wiring, plumbing, drafting, and carpentry will be introduced as well as basic manufacturing skills, such as foundry concepts, machining, and assembly, Industrial safety, the interpretation of drawings, and problem-solving techniques."
  • Heartland Technical Academy offers a Welding I and II program that introduces learners to hands-on training in common welding processes. The course primarily focuses on a shielded metal arc. Other skills "include oxy/acetylene and plasma arc cutting, and carbon arch gouging as well as other hands-on welding applications." After learning the course, students will earn college credit through Richland Community College.
  • Richland Community College offers an Engineering Technology Associate in Applied Science. This program prepares students for a career as engineering technicians in a manufacturing or industrial environment. The program is estimated to take two years.

As a result of this, we have provided the identity of a member of the community, career, and tech ed out for the engineering and manufacturing technology faculties as a substitute for the missing information.
