Diabetes Solutions Landscape - Lifestyle US, Nutrition IC 4

Suggestic, Quitter's Circle, Yazio, Diabetes in Check, ezbds, CalorieKing, SparkPeople and Lark are eight health and lifestyle solutions apps. They have all been assessed in terms of what clinical research stage they are at, how much funding they've received, how many registered users they have, what clinical studies it has been involved in and what media attention it has received. All of this information, along with sources, has been added to the spreadsheet provided in rows 8-15.

Diabetes Solutions Landscape - Lifestyle US, Quality of Life IC 4

I have updated columns N-S and included sources in column A0 for rows 8-17 in the tab entitled “ US Quality of Life Full List” in the Diabetes Solutions Landscaping Spreadsheet.

The products from row 8 (Create to Heal) and 9 (PearlPoint Side Effects Helper) have now been labeled No in column A per the provided instructions.

For both of these products I could not confirm evidence of the criteria represented in columns O-R and neither product is a medical device (column N). I have detailed my evidence and sources in the spreadsheet that lead to those ratings.

Products from row 14 (Optune) and row 15 (Quell) were the only medical devices included in the solutions list and both are being actively marketed as visible on their respective product websites (seen here and here). I therefore selected “Yes” in column N for both products. Following the instructions in the spreadsheet, I left rows 14 and 15, columns O-R blank.

The remaining products being evaluated were either mobile applications (MoovCare, ePal App, iCancerHealth, ChemoWave, and Beyond the Shock ) or a web-based solution (Dory). All of these products fulfilled at least one of the criteria in columns O-R.

For each of these products I followed these steps when filling in the spreadsheet:
1. As soon as I could confirm ONE criterion for that specific product I filled in that column as a "Yes."
2. I then left the remaining columns from O-R blank.
3. Next I wrote my comments for column S and updated the source column (A0) to add any needed references.
4. Finally, I moved onto the next product to evaluate.

I left the remaining columns from O-R blank (step 2 in above list) per the instructions.
