Daily COVID-19 Scams (April 4)
Thirteen additional new scams related to the coronavirus have been included in this spreadsheet from rows 72 – 84.
- Out of the thirteen additional new scams related to the coronavirus, four were communicated through email, two were communicated through a website, five were through a phone call, one was advertised on Facebook, and one other scam was communicated on a talk show.
- The scams include fake products that claimed to cure the coronavirus, pop-up COVID-19 testing sites, donations for the coronavirus, loans for small businesses, and malicious email attachments.
- According to the United States Secret Service, email scams will continue to increase, especially ones concerning the stimulus package.
