The Billion Dentures Project aims to identify methods, knowledge and/or technologies, in order to ultimately manufacture and distribute one billion dentures for the less fortunate. A list of medium-sized NGOs who could be good partners for the organization hosting the project has been created.
The organizations that would be a good fit for supporting the initiative of making cheap, fast dentures accessible include Enactus, The MAXIMUS Foundation, Wellcome Trust, PATH, VilliageReach, and Dental Health Without Borders. The following report provides a description of each organization, which should provide an insight into why each should be considered as a partner. This, along with contact information, has been compiled as a spreadsheet as requested.
The Enactus organization is a collection of students, academics, and business leaders that use entrepreneurial action to change people's lives for the better. Of specific interest to the Billion Dentures Project, is the fact that Enactus provides a platform for university students to create community development projects that empower the lives of the people the organization helps.

The MAXIMUS Foundation provides grants to nonprofit organizations and charities that work to help disadvantaged populations and under-served communities. They look for programs that promote personal growth and community development and ultimately, they aim to provide critical health and human service programs to a diverse array of communities.
3. Wellcome Trust
The Wellcome Trust is a global charitable foundation dedicated to achieving improvements in health by supporting those with great ideas from discovery to impact. They work to give focused, intensive support when there are real opportunities to transform lives. The Wellcome Trust has funded hundreds of innovations in the health field, which including medical/health devices.
PATH is a global health innovation organization that aims to save lives and improve health. They specialize in ensuring that promising ideas can evolve to reach widespread impact by overcoming the barriers that innovators may face, such as testing and refining, gaining approvals, and commercializing products. They utilize many cross-sector partnerships to make powerful tools and strategies accessible to innovators at a massive scale.
VillageReach works to improve patient health around the world by increasing access to quality healthcare for the most under-served communities. They partner with governments, businesses, nonprofits, and other organizations to work towards the improvement of health systems by developing, testing and implementing sustainable solutions. Of specific interest is their work in overcoming the barriers associated with delivering innovations and basic healthcare to rural and remote communities.
6. Dental Health Without Borders (TUG)
Dental Health Without Borders (TUG) is a Danish NGO working to improve oral health in developing countries. They work with volunteer dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and dental students to give emergency dental treatment to patients in need, as well as to teach good dental hygiene. As part of their dental missions, the organization sends dental teams into the field to work in poor villages, schools and so called ‘bare foot hospitals’ in order to provide dental treatment to those in need.
