To provide the requested information, we searched through industry sources such as Trader Union, Trading Platforms, Broker Choser, StockBrockers, Day TradingTop 10 Stock Broker, among many more. We found multiple precompiled lists and reviews of the top online trading brokers from these sources. We then leveraged a mix of sources such as company websites, annual reports, social media platforms, and news sources to rank the trading brokers by assets under management, number of users, and relevance, as available on the public domain.
We prioritized online brokers based in the US. Once we exhausted this category, we expanded our geographic scope to include Europe and the rest of the world. Most of the online trading brokers analyzed here provide their customers with third-party research free of charge. Others charge a fee or require customers to upgrade their subscription to get access to third-party research, tools, and software.
