Ascot Brewing Company

  • Ascot Brewing Company is a UK-based craft brewery that looked to raise £200 thousand in 2017 through a crowdfunding effort.

  • Notably, media coverage of the brewery's fundraising efforts as well as the company's associated fundraising page on Crowdcube indicate that Ascot Brewing Company met or exceeded its fundraising target.

Trademark Brewing

  • Trademark Brewing is a California-based craft brewery that recently sought to raise approximately $500 thousand from investors.
  • The associated presentation is available here.
  • It appears likely that this fundraising effort was partially successful, given that Pitchbook reports the company successfully raised $330 thousand from an angel investor in 2017.

Appalachian Mountain Brewery

  • Appalachian Mountain Brewery is a North Carolina-based craft brewery that created a generic fundraising presentation for the company in 2016.
  • The associated presentation is available here.
  • Although information about the success of Appalachian Mountain Brewery's fundraising efforts does not appear to be publicly available, it is likely that this presentation was effective, given that the company was acquired by the Craft Brew Alliance in 2018.

Red Iron Brewing Company

  • Red Iron Brewing Company is a Nebraska-based craft beer company that recently looked to raise $1 million.

  • Unfortunately, it appears that details related to the effectiveness of this presentation during associated fundraising efforts is not publicly available, per a review of the company's owned media as well as available information from media sources and business data aggregators (e.g., Crunchbase, Pitchbook, Zoominfo).

CANN

  • CANN is a California-based producer of cannabis infused beverages that sought to raise $1.5 million in seed funding from investors in 2019.

  • Not only did CANN meet its $1.5 million fundraising target, but the startup ultimately closed $5 million in investments from the oversubscribed round.

K-Zen Beverages

Cloud 9 Spirits

  • Cloud 9 Spirits is a Nevada-based manufacturer of ultra-premium distilled spirits that looked to raise $1.75 million in 2015.
  • The associated pitch deck is available here.
  • Although information about the success of Cloud 9 Spirits' fundraising efforts is limited, AngelList reported that the startup successfully closed a $20 thousand seed round in early 2015.

Copper Cow Coffee

  • Copper Cow Coffee is a California-based producer of "premium specialty Vietnamese coffee" that has completed over five fundraising rounds.
  • The associated pitch deck is available here.
  • Although the enclosed presentation is not publicly linked with a specific funding round, it is likely that these sales materials were effective in securing investment, given that Copper Cow Coffee has been successful in raising $3 million from investors to date.
  • Notably, this pitch deck was also highlighted as the second-best fundraising presentation by Superside in September 2018.
