Computer science professors emails: Part 1
For this report, I focused on identifying computer science professors at the top two computer science universities, as identified by U.S. News: MIT, and University of California — Berkeley. This provided me with a list of 20 professors who are teaching computer science courses this semester. You will see a deep dive of these findings, including the professor's name, email address, university where they teach, a list of courses they are teaching this semester, and sources on the attached spreadsheet.
I began by identifying the universities to be researched for this report, MIT and University of California — Berkeley. These were chosen from the U.S. News report you provided in your request. I first exhausted every professor teaching computer science courses this semester at MIT, before moving onto the second university on the list, UC — Berkeley.
Once I'd identified those universities to be included in this report, I located course catalogs and faculty lists for each university, with a focus on their Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EESC) departments. I then cross-referenced these reports in order to identify first those computer science courses which are being taught during the Spring 2018 semester, and then the professor(s) who are teaching those courses this semester. Once I had identified a list of professors, I was able to locate their profiles and email addresses to complete the attached spreadsheet.
To summarize, the attached spreadsheet contains the names of 20 computer science professors who are teaching courses at MIT and UC-Berkeley this semester. Fifteen of those professors have been chosen from MIT, while the remaining five teach at UC-Berkeley. Detailed information concerning professor names, email addresses, and the courses they are teaching can be found on the attached spreadsheet.
