These companies develop and deploy various technologies to achieve temperature regulation on their bedding products to achieve better sleep experience for their customers. For Chili Technology, it uses OOLER Sleep System technology. For Leggett & Platt, Inc., it is the Sleep Chill solutions, while for Slumber Cloud, it is Outlast®.

RESEARCH STRATEGYTo address this request, we primarily pulled data from the official websites, product pages, and social media platforms of the requested companies. We used to this approach to provide their overview, the year they were founded, information on their offerings (whether they offer mattress or topper or both) product features, and pricing options. However, note that for Leggett & Platt, Inc., it doesn't sell its products directly to the public. It only does so through third-party dealers; hence, we used e-commerce stores like Amazon and Walmart to provide the pricing information. Also, for the requested companies, we found that the pricing options for their products depend on two factors: the size of the bed and sleep zone (i.e., if it's for an individual or two). Hence, some of them were expressed as a range of prices.

All the information required for Sleep Better Iso-Cool and Perfect Sleep Pad has been incorporated into columns H and I of the attached spreadsheet. While Sleep Better offers both mattress pads and toppers, Perfect Sleep Pad only offers mattress pads.

They claim that the mattress pad reduces insomnia, reduces hot flashes, and improves muscle conditions of a body.
The company's website was created in December 2016.
The company only offers mattress pads.

RESEARCH STRATEGYFor both companies in columns H and I of the attached spreadsheet, we were able to compile the required information, including overview, features, types of products, pricing options, and more, from their respective website pages. The pricing details for Sleep Better Iso-Cool's products were not provided on the official website. The company requires the customers to contact them through a form for proper pricing details. However, we were able to find the pricing details of the required products from the Amazon account of the company. Therefore, we were able to locate all the information required for Sleep Better Iso-Cool. 

Even after extensive research, we were not able to find the founding year of Perfect Sleep Pad. Therefore, we have provided the date of their website's domain creation as the founding date. The strategies applied before searching for the proxy information have been explained below, along with an explanation of how we came up with the proxy information. We first searched across every page of the company's official website. We were able to find all the other required information from those pages. However, the company has not stated its founding year in any of those pages. 

Since the company has not mentioned the founding date, we decided to search for other third-party sources that might have background information on the company. We searched across the websites, such as Owler, Crunchbase, and Zoom. We found that these websites did not contain a company profile of Perfect Sleep Pad. We only found profiles of other similar companies, including Chilli Pad and LEVEL Sleep. 

We then searched for press releases, news articles, and any other type of articles on the company. We hoped to find the founding year of the company or the date of its first product launch from these databases. We searched across different reputable databases, including Forbes, BBC News, CNET, and more. However, we only found information on other companies that sold mattresses and toppers. The company was not mentioned in any other these sources. 

Thereafter, we conducted a search across all the social media pages of Perfect Sleep Pad. Generally, companies tend to enter their founding date on the "About" section of their social media pages. We searched across the company's Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram page. We were only able to find general information on the company from these pages. No information regarding the founding date could be found. We observed that there was a Messenger chatbot on the company's website. We tried contacting the company's chat support team to ask for the required date. However, we did not get a reply from them, as seen in this attachment. 

Thereafter, we tried triangulating the founding date. Our idea was to search for any social media post, news article, press release, or celebratory post regarding the company's anniversaries. If we had found a post that mentioned a certain anniversary of the company (example: 25th anniversary), we could have easily triangulated its founding year. We again searched across the social media pages and news databases mentioned above. However, we found the same results that we had found earlier. There was no mention of the company's anniversaries. We assumed that the data might not be publicly available because the company does not want to build on its history or just does not put much focus on its founding date. 

Lastly, we decided to use proxy information to complete our research. We used a domain checking tool to find out the date when the domain of Perfect Sleep Pad was created. Since the company is relatively young and sells its products directly from the website, we assumed that the website and the company were created in the same year. Therefore, we have presented the founding date of the company in the attached spreadsheet as 2016 (the year when the domain was created).
