Most of the CEOs from IBG, MobileFuse, and Network to Code appeared in several events last year to talk about their respective company and their plans. IBG and Network to Code have been recognized for their ideas and innovation several times last year. The rest of the information can be found in the attached spreadsheet.

Interactive Brokers Group

  • Thomas Frank, being a physicist, occasionally attends physics lectures and events at MIT.
  • IBG is rated #1 by Barron’s in its 25th annual ranking of The Best Online Brokers.
  • IBG launched IBKR Lite.

MobileFuse

  • Kenneth Harlan filed a patent, “System and Method for Location-Based Advertisement Delivery Verification,” on February 26, 2018.
  • MobileFuse announced that it would expand to Digital Out Of Home (DOOH) networks.
  • CEO Ken Harlan also talked about the future of mobile advertising via TechBytes.

Network To Code

  • Jason Edelman, founder, and CTO, is an author, having co-written O'Reilly's Network Programmability & Automation.
  • John Marchese, the CEO, is featured by CRN as one of the Faces Of The 2019 Next Gen 250.
  • The company announced that its Network Automation Summit will be returning to Interop 2020.

Research Strategy

We began by using the companies' websites to obtain the latest key news and events about the companies in question. Investor and media sub-pages provided the news and press releases that answered "News and Updates" and "Events and Announcements." Where no such pages can be found, third-party news outlets served as a fallback option.

The content of news and events was different among the three companies due to their sizes and market reach. IBG, having a global reach, has a plethora of company news and information from its website and in search engine results, i.e. from new products/features to global rankings. For MobileFuse and Network To Code, little information could be found about new product launches and company news. There was information only about events, interviews, and news features about these companies. This is probably the case because both companies are new entrants in the market, making them a small-scale firm.

Information for C-Suite's interests as well as changes within their ranks was particularly harder to find. We mainly used the C-level executives Linkedin profiles and university pages. However, the three C-suite executives of IBG do not have a Linkedin page. As such, we were not able to get much information about their interests.

Results can be found in the linked spreadsheet, columns AD to AF, rows 33 to 37.

News America Marketing

Everything was found on its website, though we did have to go back a little more than one year to get enough articles released by the company.

Parsec Media

The company's website appears barely maintained over the past few years.

Quotient Technology

Most detail was found on the company website.

Research Strategy

We had to go back 13 months to get the minimum amount of news stories for News America. After scouring the biographies and LinkedIn pages of Quotient executives, we were only able to find three non-work-related interests. Given more time, perhaps other social media can be investigated for any presence. There is very little to be found for Parsec, mostly links to outdated blog posts and LinkedIn pages. There was only one news story posted in the past year.

The requested information for TULA, Working Families Party, and Zeta Global have been provided in rows 33-37, columns AM-AO of the attached spreadsheet. The interests of the members of the companies’ c-suite include relaxing at beaches, graphic designing, reading, and other activities.

Selected Findings

Research Strategy

Only one major event/announcement from TULA in the past 12-months has been provided. To identify the required information, we first examined content published by TULA. An examination of the company’s website, press releases, and other publications has revealed mostly product reviews and new product launches. Only one major event has occurred in the past 12-months (Masks for Masks donation program). Next, we conducted a press search for external articles on the company. A press search has only provided interviews with company's executive.

Only two interests of the members of Zeta Global’s c-suite have been provided. To identify the required information, we first examined the executives’ profiles on Zeta Global’s website and their individual social media pages. An examination of the profile and social media pages of all eight c-suite members did not mention any information related to interests. Next, we conducted a press search for interviews conducted with the c-suite members. Only David Steinberg (co-founder, chairman, and CEO) and John Sculley (co-founder and vice chairman) have conducted interviews recently. However, only one interest could be identified from each individual.
