Which companies hire workers in the philippines?
Hello there! Thank you for asking Wonder to research US/EU companies hiring workers from the Philippines. I have focused my attention on workers living in the Philippines while working for outside companies.
METHODOLOGY
I searched extensively for companies with the attributes you requested, and I found a variety of useful sources. The New York Times led me to one of its own entrepreneurship bloggers and her experience with outsourcing to the Philippines. As I searched specifically for digital marketing companies in the Philippines, I found case studies and testimonials tying back to US or EU companies. These were helpful in determining their clients. I have here including my results and links to the companies referenced.
In an entrepreneur column at the New York Times, Rebekah Campbell, Co-Founder and CEO of Hey You App, described her experience with outsourcing. She had heard of friends who were successfully outsourcing development work to the Philippines, so she flew to Manila to investigate and "discovered [its] thriving start-up ecosystem." She found that developers were "passionate about building great products, and everyone seemed enthusiastic and hard working," Campbell said.
At the time (2014), her company had a team of 15 in Manila: "six developers, four telemarketers, a graphic designer, a database manager, an assistant community manager, an accountant and a manager," she stated. Each person was recruited individually, and her office staff has visited Manila for extended periods to work with the team there.
