Collect the email addresses of 1000 real estate agents in California, USA

Hello! Thanks for your request for the email addresses of 1,000 real estate agents in California, USA. The short version is that after searching extensively through real estate industry websites, realtor sites, government sources, and articles a pre-compiled list of 1,000 names with email information is not publicly-available. This is because realtor websites charge fees to access such lists.

However, using free samples from Real Estate Agent Lists and free lists from the San Francisco Association of Realtors website, I was able to pull 800 names along with office name, email, and city location for Alameda, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Diego, and San Francisco counties. All data is compiled in this spreadsheet. I was unable to find information on the suburbs served, because such data would require additional in-depth research on each realtor outside of the scope of your request. Should you be interested in adding that information to the compiled data, we could do so in follow-up research requests. Below you will find a deep dive of my research and suggestions for follow-up questions.
RESEARCH
A typical Wonder list is 10-20 items, unless an pre-compiled list exists. As such, I searched for existing lists of California realtors, but quickly determined that realty websites charge a fee for email information or put clients in contact with realtors through email forms. For example, Realtor.com and My Agent Finder list realtors in California, but email communication is via their contact form. In the course of my search I learned that there are 98,500 active real estate brokers and 193,200 active agents in California as of January 2017.

Using a list of California counties by size, I searched for lists for each county in order of size, but again found that county data was behind pay walls with the exception of San Francisco City and County. The San Francisco Association of Realtors lists realtors along with email information on their website, so I pulled 300 records from that site. As you did not specify a particular interest in San Francisco and the manual data entry was time intensive, I limited my San Francisco data pull to 300 records. Should you want to add to the San Francisco list, we could do so in a subsequent request.

Real Estate Agent Lists provides data on agents throughout the United States for a fee. Their complete California list costs $997 and is updated monthly. However, they provide one 100-name sample report per email sign-up, which comes in a downloadable Excel file and may meet your needs. As I have access to 5 email accounts, I was able to pull data for 5 counties and prioritized large counties. I spot-checked names and emails to verify that these are indeed active realtors; the Real Estate Agent Lists data appears to be current and accurate.

No information was available at the suburb level, but Real Estate Agent Lists provides zip codes for the realtor offices, which may be helpful to you. San Francisco Association of Realtors does not provide information on specific location with the city and county.
POSSIBLE CONTINUED RESEARCH

In understanding what types of information are and are not publicly available on this topic, I’ve suggested a few other routes you may be interested in researching:

1) A follow-up request for another researcher to add to the spreadsheet I've provided you.

2) If suburb-level information is critical: a follow-up request to have multiple researchers locate realtor websites on the list and determine their suburbs.
CONCLUSION
To wrap it up, after searching extensively through real estate industry websites, realtor sites, government sources, and articles, a pre-existing list to answer your question is not publicly available because companies charge fees to access realtor email information. However, using Real Estate Agent Lists and the San Francisco Association of Realtors, I was able to compile 800 names for you in this spreadsheet. If you’d like to continue research on any of the other topics I’ve outlined above, just let us know!
Thanks for using Wonder!
