Chive Exporters in Mexico
In reference to our findings, five examples of companies that export fresh cut chives to the United States are Aztek H&S, Herbico, Sama Mexports, Agricola El Ayale De Nana, and Especiama. In addition to chives, these companies also import other types of herbs and spices some of which include mint, oregano, basil, and tarragon. Further details on our research strategy and findings follows below.
METHODOLOGY
To determine examples of companies that export fresh cut chives to the United States, we performed a direct search for Mexican companies that export fresh produce to the United States by air. After doing an exhaustive search for such companies, we were able to identify two companies that fit the profile i.e. Aztek and Herbico. To identify more companies, we changed our strategy by searching for a Mexican Directory of agricultural companies and we were able to find Promexico and Mexbest. Using these directories, we were able to find three more Mexican based companies that produce and export chives to the United States. We provided all the requested details i.e. company name, website, and contact information mainly by doing searches on the official website of each of the identified companies.
