Children's Hospital/Foundation Donors

St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia,
Seattle Children's Hospital, University Children's Hospital, and Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh all have the number of donors listed on their web page. Miami Children's Hospital only has a list of donors at the bottom of their annual report. Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and Phoenix Children's Hospital have their donations listed in monetary value only. A spreadsheet has been attached with the complete findings.

Methodology

By searching each hospital website I was able to find donation statistics for five of the eight listed hospitals. I did an extensive search for the other three in news articles and press releases but did not find the number of donations. For Miami Children's Hospital, now called Nicklaus Children's Health System, a list of donor names was provided at the bottom of their annual report. After a count of these names, there is approximately 1,656 listed. Lastly for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and Phoenix Children's Hospital the only donation information I could locate was the monetary value. Neither has the number of donations listed.

Findings

1) St. Jude's Children's Hospital: more than 10 million
3) Seattle Children's Hospital: 100,000 donors annually
5) Miami Children's Hospital: approx. 1,656 listed
7) Children's Hospital of Wisconsin: $28,188,706 in donations
8) Phoenix Children's Hospital: $40 million in donations

CONCLUSION

The above listed children's hospitals, number of donors, and the accompanying links have been added the attached spreadsheet. You can access the spreadsheet here.
