What businesses take advantage of consumer/customer data analytics to proactively upsell?

METHODOLOGY
First, we researched tools that are used by companies to analyze customer data for up-selling. The tools that are used by businesses include tools like Evergage and Automat. Then we referred to the company websites of these tools for customer lists and trusted media mentions to research the companies that are utilizing these tools to proactively up-sell their consumers. Using these resources, we have compiled a list of 50 businesses with their names, their websites and the sources from where we researched the businesses.
UP SELLING
Up-selling is a sales strategy where the seller entices a consumer to purchase the higher priced option of a product or service that the consumer is already purchasing. Many businesses are applying predictive analysis, customer data and machine learning to automatize and refine the process of up-selling. Below we have listed the software utilized by companies to analyze customer data and up-sell their consumers.

* EVERGAGE - Evergage allows users to track and analyze their customer's behavior and adoption, and create relevant up-sell messages to be delivered at the appropriate time.
*AUTOMAT - Automat allows users to create chatbots that can up-sell their consumers using personalized, one-on-one messages. These chatbots can converse with the user, analyze the collected data and up-sell them by showing them appropriate offers.
