Build a list of fraternities and sororities with active chapters at Rutgers University. Please include a list of chapters, along with: - Chapter Name - Chapter Website - Chapter membership count - Contact information for chapter presidents (email, phone & IG)
Hello and thank you for your question for a listing of fraternities and sororities within Rutgers University. The two most useful resources I found were Facebook pages which often included linked content from other social media outlets, and the listing of recognized chapters from Rutgers. In short, you can find a listing of the first 20 chapters and included information in this sheet.
A standard Wonder-compiled list or spreadsheet has 10 items in it. However, because I was able to find a list of fraternities and sororities to work from, I completed 20 entries. If you would like Wonder to complete the details for the remaining sororities/fraternities, please submit an additional 4 requests and we would be happy to complete the remaining details.
Unfortunately some of the official websites are not particularly updated or active. Even the links listed on Rutgers are sometimes inaccurate, inactive, or only reflect a national website instead of a chapter-specific presence. Names of current presidents were scarce, and questionably accurate. I found almost all chapters to have Facebook as their most active page, and would suggest contacting them through this channel.
In conclusion, you can find the listings of recognized chapters here on the Rutgers site, although some of the links are broken. The excel sheet is here.
