Yixia Technology offers six different mobile apps that feature video broadcasting, development framework, and social features. Their products are geared towards individuals, especially celebrities and internet influencers. The requested information for Yixia Technology can be found in column E of the attached spreadsheet.

  • Yixia Technology was co-founded by Cedric Fung and Kun Han in 2011.
  • The company is headquartered in Beijing, China.
  • They have an average of 169 employees.
  • Yixia has received over $800 million in funding and are currently a series B company.
  • The company's main partner is the microblogging service Weibo.

Research Strategy

We found that Yixia did not make any business-related claims about their software offerings. We checked their website, press releases, and third-party interviews with the founder or employees and did not find any useful claims. This could be because their mobile apps are geared towards individuals and celebrities, not so much businesses. We also did not find any other C-level executives aside from the two co-founders. The company website does not list any executives or have a staff directory, and their LinkedIn page does not list individuals' titles. We did not find any information about pilot products or programs from Yixia either.

There were also other information that was not available, such as KPIs, pricing, usability, and others. We believe this is because the company does not publish much information on their main website, their press releases are mostly from 2017 or earlier, and their individual mobile app websites are not translatable.
