The research team began by checking the official websites of each company for their list of partnerships, then compared them to the list of competitors provided. 9 of the companies had their partners listed on their official websites. Of the 9 companies, only four (Ford Audio-Video, Corbett Technology, Carousel Industries, and Washington Professional Systems) were in partnerships with any of the competitors. The other 5 companies (Cenero, Key Code, Red Thread, Yorktel, and Genesis Integration) had NONE of the competitors listed as a partner.
USIS Audiovisual Systems does not have a partner page, however, we found a list of its credentials. None of the associated companies or organizations were on the provided list of competitors.
For companies without a published partnership list on their official websites, we proceeded to check their product listings and if they were in partnerships with the manufacturers of the products they distribute. Although Solotech disclosed that it partnered with the manufacturers of the products listed on its website, we found that the company has not partnered with any of the listed competitors.
Our final strategy was to thoroughly examine news articles and press releases from every other company concerning partnerships and alliances. We completed this search for each of the following companies: Electrosonic, Parsons Technologies, Alpha Video and Audio, Spectra Audiovisual Design, USIS Audiovisual Systems, Constant Technologies, JKL Technologies, Sound Image, AV-tech Media Solutions, and Pivium. The results of the search showed that none of the companies had gone into partnership with any of the listed competitors.
