Companies - Automotive Autonomy
Many companies are working on automotive autonomy; however, twenty of them are given below.
Below, we have presented the list outlining their website links, their location, what they are working on, their availability and any successes they have experienced.
Methodology
To address the research question adequately, we have included the companies based on pre-compiled lists that are available publicly. Since there are no specific criteria provided for the companies other than automotive autonomy, we have included companies which are specifically working on the artificial intelligence systems which render autonomy in a vehicle.
1. AutoX
AutoX is a self-driving grocery delivery service customers can order delivery through the company's app to be delivered by the self driven car. The company's website is accessible by clicking here. They have gained success by partnering with a few grocery companies an ecommerce company known as GrubMarket as well as retail companies such as Whole Foods, Blue Apron, Hello Fresh and Chipotle.
2. Drive. AI

Drive AI has received success by partnering with a Singapore based Uber rival known as Grab and has gain enormous amounts of funding since its founding.
3. NuTonomy

4. Carvi

5. Cruise

6. TRI.AD

The company is based in Tokyo, Japan and is aimed at delivering the world's safest fully automated vehicles that are beautifully designed. The company will create a “fully-integrated, production-quality software for automated driving,” according to Toyota. Toyota, Denso and Aisint plan to invest $2.8 billion dollars into the start up.
7. Optimus Ride

8. WAYMO
WAYMO was started as an exploration of self driving vehicles. They have since become their own company focused on creating safe driverless vehicles. They are located in Mountain View, California. 9. ZOOX
ZOOX is located in Foster City, California. The company is different from other self driving vehicle companies because they are creating autonomous vehicles independently from scratch. 10. NAUTO
Nauto creates AI technology for commercial fleets. The Nautos intelligent system reduces the possibility of distractions by keeping drivers attentive. 11. Varden Labs
Varden Labs is a stealth self driving company and it is dedicated to providing autonomous shuttles for university campuses located in Waterloo, Canada. There’s very little known about the startup, but the site and past coverage of the company focus on developing autonomous technology and they are currently still in the process of raising funds for the project.
12. PONY.AI

13. FISHEYEBOX

14. High Tech Robotic Systems

15. Auro Robotics

16. NIO
NIO is located in China; it is an automobile manufacturer located in Shanghai. They specialize in designing and developing autonomous vehicles. The company’s website is accessible by clicking here. NIO has been a finalist in the Automotive News Pace Awards. They have won Automotive News PACE Innovation Partnership Awards previously.
17. SWAAYATT ROBOTS
Swaayatt is developing on and off-road robots self driving technology that works in an extremely difficult traffic scenario. The company's website is accessible by clicking here. They are located in India. They are currently testing technology that is said to be able to de-clutter the environment.
18. Omnipresent Robot
Omnipresent Robot is one of the leading robotics companies in India. The company's website is accessible by clicking here. They are working relentlessly in the arena of driver less cars that use a combination of ID laser sensors, stereo cameras and combine their data through sensor fusion to generate 3D maps. Omnipresent Robot has won the gold medal for Innovative Gold Medal in 2012 & 2013.
19. Netradyne

Netradyne started offering VisionPRO camera that provides up to eight different views of a commercial truck; this helps fleet managers see the side and rear of their vehicles.
20. ATIMOTORS
