Methodology

To address the research question adequately, we have included the companies based on pre-compiled lists that are available publicly. Since there are no specific criteria provided for the companies other than automotive autonomy, we have included companies which are specifically working on the artificial intelligence systems which render autonomy in a vehicle.

1. AutoX

4. Carvi

9. ZOOX

ZOOX is located in Foster City, California. The company is different from other self driving vehicle companies because they are creating autonomous vehicles independently from scratch. 10. NAUTO

Nauto creates AI technology for commercial fleets. The Nautos intelligent system reduces the possibility of distractions by keeping drivers attentive. 11. Varden Labs

Varden Labs is a stealth self driving company and it is dedicated to providing autonomous shuttles for university campuses located in Waterloo, Canada. 12. PONY.AI

14. High Tech Robotic Systems

15. Auro Robotics

16. NIO

17. SWAAYATT ROBOTS

18. Omnipresent Robot

Omnipresent Robot is one of the leading robotics companies in India. The company's website is accessible by clicking here. They are working relentlessly in the arena of driver less cars that use a combination of ID laser sensors, stereo cameras and combine their data through sensor fusion to generate 3D maps. Omnipresent Robot has won the gold medal for Innovative Gold Medal in 2012 & 2013.

19. Netradyne

20. ATIMOTORS
