Strengths
- Under Armour, Champion, and Alternative are few of the most powerful sportswear brands. Gear For Sports sells its products under these powerful brands and claims that its 'compelling portfolio' is one of its greatest strengths.
- Gear For Sports provides a single resource to its customers for a variety of sportswear needs. The brand sells different sportswear, including t-shirts, fleece, caps, performance outerwear, and performance wear.

Research Strategy
We started the research by identifying the two competitors of Augusta Sportswear and searching for the information required on the competitors. The information related to the competitive advantages, strengths, and footprints of the brands was available on their respective websites and LinkedIn pages. However, we found that the brands have not mentioned their weaknesses on their respective websites and social media pages. Therefore, we analyzed their weaknesses based on the reviews from their past and present employees on Glassdoor. We have provided the most common issues that were mentioned by the employees.
In order to find the revenues of the two brands, we searched for their respective annual reports. While Gear For Sports does not publish its annual report, its parent company publishes an annual report every year. We found that the revenue of Gear For Sports was not provided in the annual report of Hanesbrands (the parent company). Therefore, we have provided a revenue figure that was provided by a third-party database called Zoominfo. We found that Teamwork Athletic Apparel had not made its financial statements and sales figures available to the public. Therefore, we again referred to Zoominfo for its revenue. In this way, we were able to gather all the information required to complete this research.
