Airlie Beach Scuba Diving Trips
The three scuba diving excursions to see the Great Barrier Reef that leave out of Airlie Beach, Australia on April 14, 2019, include the "Full day dive at the Great Barrier Reef" provided by the Explore Group, "Full Day Reef Experience" provided by Cruise Whitsundays and "Full Day Snorkeling and Diving the Outer Reef" provided by AirlieBeach.
METHODOLOGY
We utilized various trusted travel sources such as Adventure Free, Trip Advisor, Viator, Y travel blog, Reef Experience and Reef Trip to compile a comprehensive list of all the one-day scuba diving trip options in Airlie Beach, Australia by the Great Barrier Reef. Then, we filtered the list based on the requirements such as the number of water dives, availability of lunch, duration of trip and depth of the dive. We also eliminated those tours that did not have any available reservation for Sunday, April 14, 2019. Finally, we utilized the company websites to compile the relevant information. Below, we have compiled all the relevant information regarding each of the scuba diving experience.
1. Explore Group-Full day dive at the Great Barrier Reef
- Description: This tour is a full-day excursion at the Airlie Beach and includes two dives in the Bait Reef of the Great Barrier Reef. About 3.5 hours are spent in each of the dive locations. The diving depth of the Bait Reef is 4 to 18 meters with a visibility of 10 to 20 meters. The tour includes a buffet lunch.

- Roadmap: The tour departs from the Abel Point Marina at the Airlie Beach at 8.45 am, visits dive sites around Bait Reef including Stepping Stones, Paradise Lagoon and Mantaray drop-off, and returns to Airlie Beach at around 5.00pm.

2. Cruise Whitsundays — Full Day Reef Experience
- Description: This tour is a full-day excursion at the Airlie Beach and includes two dives in the Hardy Reef pontoon of the Great Barrier Reef. The diving depth of the Hardy Reef pontoon is 5 to 18 meters with a visibility of 8 to 18 meters. The tour includes a buffet lunch.

- Roadmap of the trip: The tour departs from the Port of Airlie at the Airlie Beach at 8:00 am, visits dive sites at the Great Barrier Reef, and returns to Port of Airlie at 6:10 pm.

- Description: This tour is a full-day snorkeling and diving excursion at the Airlie Beach and includes two dives in the Bait Reef and nearby outer reefs of the Great Barrier Reef. About 3.5 hours are spent in each of the dive locations. The diving depth of the Bait Reef is 4 to 18 meters with a visibility of 10 to 20 meters. The tour includes a buffet lunch.
