Top AI Training Tools / Platforms

At 48.38%, Tensorflow has the highest market share in the machine learning market followed by Scikit-learn at about 22%. Microsoft Azure ML, Google Cloud ML, and Amazon ML claim 5.15%, 1%, and 1.82% of the global market share, respectively. Below is an overview of our findings. We have also provided screenshots of each platform's user interface in the attached Google Document.

Methodology

To identify the top platforms/tools that are used to train AI in the process of machine learning, we began our research by searching through market research resources such as MarketWatch, Allied Market Research, MarketsandMarkets, and Mintel. We managed to find reports that were behind paywalls that identified Microsoft, FICO, HP Enterprise, BigML, Google Inc, and Amazon Web Services as the top players in the Machine Learning market but they did not provide the relevant products that these companies offer. It was also possible that he reports considered and combined various other factors such as the performance of their AI products.

Second we searched through media resources such as Forbes, statistics resources such as Statista, and tech-related blogs such as CNET. Again our efforts were fruitless. Third, we searched through technographics data providers such as Datanyze and Enlyft. From Datanyze, a ZoomInfo subsidiary, we found 16 top platforms that are used to train AI in the process of machine learning ranked by market share.

Datanyze calculates market share by dividing the number of websites that use a certain technology by the total number of websites using any technology in the same category. Though their methods and algorithms are not exhaustive, the resulting data is the closest we could come to finding the required market size information.

We then considered tech review sites including Capterra, G2 Crowd, DZone, Open Source, Venture Radar, Predictive Analytics Today, and FinancesOnline to identify which of the platforms provided by Datalyze have the highest customer satisfaction rates. Top has been determined based on a mix of customer satisfaction and market share.
