However, after analyzing the company's website, we were only able to determine their strengths and weaknesses. Their 'about us' page is blank, which limited us from finding any unique branding of the company. The only company-related details that are publicly available on the website is its store locations and contact details.

RESEARCH STRATEGY

In order to identify competitors of ABC Fine Wine & Spirits that are located in Jacksonville, we used this source. For each store listed as the "best" alongside ABC, we examined their websites. In order to determine whether they are direct competitors to ABC, we checked if they meet the following two criteria: 1) they have brick-and-mortar stores in Jacksonville, and 2) they sell drinks online.

Our search suggests none of the three competitors actively advertise or engage in marketing. Broudy's occasionally organizes free tasting events; Anjo Liquors delivers drinks through a third-party platform, while Total Wines markets the brand in general, without a particular focus on its Jacksonville store. We checked each of the competitor's websites, hoping to directly locate statements from the stores surrounding their marketing campaigns and efforts, but all we found there was marketing messaging limited to the websites. Moving forward, we dived into third-party reports by marketing publications such as Ad Age and Ad Week. There, we had hoped to locate expert-written reports that focus on any of the competitors' marketing efforts or marketing case studies, but no relevant information could be traced. For Total Wines, no reports specifically focused on their efforts in the Jacksonville, Florida area.

We ultimately resorted to manually reviewing advertising examples of the three competitors. We utilized creative databases such as Moat, as well as Google Images, in order to review the available examples, but found that Broudy's and Anjo Liquors' advertising examples were limited to on-premises signage and website messaging. For Total Wines, again, marketing examples were mostly focused on the brand in general, although marketing examples specific to Total Wines' store in Aventura, Florida were available.

We further refined the search to those with locations in Pensacola, Fla to verify them as competitors in that city and this search also provided information regarding their local competitors. To further clarify, we identified the 5 cities in the Pensacola-Brent-Ferry Pass Metropolitan Area to be Pensacola, Milton, Gulf Breeze, Century, and Jay. Total Wine & More was not found to have physical locations in Pensacola, but ABC reign in Florida has said to be threatened by its presence and it was included due to the availability of residents nearby cities with physical locations would still be likely to make use of 2 hour delivery and possible one-day delivery.
